Sonoco Alcore’s plant in Tavernerio, Italy, has a fully automated and dedicated tape core line, where we can produce cores with a variety of inside diameters and wall thicknesses to meet your requirements.

Our Rigid Paper Containers tell a story of endless sustainable integration, with a seamless customer collaboration for the perfect final product.
- Sonoco Alcore sources raw material from our Cirie paper mill to provide coreboard with a low moisture content and reliable strength properties
- Ensuring consistent core dimensions with our standardised and automated line
- Standardised packaging of corrugated boxes and euro pallets so tape cores arrive undamaged and ready-to-use
- Branding requirements can be met via our in-house graphics and printing
- We also produce tape cores at our Caserta, Italy plant.
TAPE & LABEL IN-HOUSE PRINTING
Sonoco Alcore’s in-house printing and graphics capabilities allow us to not only perfectly print your branding on the inside of tape cores, but also to deliver over 1,000 different types of outside ply liners and branding options. These outside ply liners can be matched to different material needs including silicon, foam and various types of films.
